How does Mediavine pay?

Each month's earnings are paid a set number of days after that month ends, on a fixed day of the month or the next business day. Your first payment arrives a couple of months after you start.

The minimum payout depends on how you're paid, and some international methods need a higher balance. The currency you're paid in depends on the method you pick.

Who is Mediavine a fit for?

Content sites that already earn steady ad revenue, often in food, travel, home, and similar topics. Mediavine looks at what you earn from ads in a year across all your sites, not a traffic number. Your content needs to be original, high quality, and evergreen.

What should you have ready before you apply?

Proof of what your ads earn now, since the bar is yearly ad revenue. You'll also need to give Mediavine read-only Google Analytics access during review.

You must be in good standing with AdSense and Ad Exchange, with no active policy issues. You don't need to have used AdSense before.

What if your site is too small for Mediavine?

Mediavine runs a second program, Journey, for smaller sites. It has a lower bar to join and the same company behind it. Journey's page lists its rules and the sites that use it.

What does the pay day mean?

Mediavine pays each month's earnings a set number of days after the month ends. Earnings from January arrive a couple of months later, not at the start of February. Plan for that gap if you switch from a network that pays faster.

How does Mediavine compare with Raptive?

Raptive publishes a 75% share. Mediavine's starts at 75% for new sites and rises to 90% in its top tiers. Raptive sets a pageview bar and a reader location rule, while Mediavine sets a revenue bar. Raptive pays on Net 45, sooner than Mediavine's Net 65. Mediavine says there's no long-term contract.
