Enter one phrase per line in your preferred order. Commas stay inside a phrase. The builder removes later punctuation, spacing, or capitalization duplicates, then tries each remaining phrase in fields 1 through 7 until it fits. It keeps phrases whole and does not rewrite them.
The default cap is 50 characters per field. Change it to the limit shown in your KDP field. The optional title, subtitle, and category labels add literal overlap prompts; they do not change placement. Review every draft and prompt before copying a field into KDP.
How the seven fields are filled
The builder uses the order of your list. For each distinct phrase, it checks field 1 first, then field 2, through field 7. It adds the phrase to the first field with enough room, counting one space between phrases. If a phrase does not fit anywhere, it stays in the review list. A shorter phrase later in your list may still fit an earlier field.
A three-phrase draft
With the 50-character planning cap, cozy cat mystery, small town secrets, and amateur sleuth fit together in field 1. The result is exactly 50 characters. The cap controls this local draft only.
Review the prompts
An omitted duplicate is a later phrase with the same local matching key after case, punctuation, and spacing are normalized. The original phrase wording is otherwise kept. A phrase listed as not placed remains whole; it may exceed your cap or no field may have enough room. Punctuation-only lines need editing.
Some prompts reflect published KDP guidance. Others are local checks for literal overlap, repeated words, or phrase length. KDP recommends accurate, reader-focused keywords and short phrases, but these prompts cannot judge relevance or verify a policy decision. KDP's keyword guidance does not publish a universal numeric per-field character limit. Set the cap to the limit you see in your KDP field.
