Basecamp keyboard shortcuts

Basecamp 5 uses Shift-letter navigation throughout the web app, plus a small set of project and page commands. Hold Shift outside a text field to reveal available keycaps; inside a text field, press Shift twice to activate hotkey mode.

Jump menu and global navigation

Shift-letter commands move to Basecamp's main destinations. On Mac, Command+J and Command+K are additional ways to open the Jump menu.

These keys act on the current project, tool, or page. Shift+C moves focus to either Campfire chat or a comment form, depending on the page.
